Description
Kiilto Fibergum is a ready-mixed, fibre-reinforced waterproofing membrane for use in floors and walls in bathrooms, saunas and similar wet areas prior to tiling. Not suitable for applications that are constantly under water (e.g., pools) or exposed to temperatures above +70 °C (e.g., sauna steam room walls).
The substrate must be dry, absorbent, free from dust and even. All materials that might impair adhesion of the waterproofing membrane must be removed. Weak and flexible constructions must be braced before starting the job. Ensure that the construction and substrate are suitable for waterproofing and tiling. Underfloor heating is laid under the waterproofing membrane. Kiilto Kerafiber’s compatibility with the most commonly used floor drains is tested and approved. Ensure floor drain’s compatibility by consulting our technical service or the floor drain supplier.
